Religious Education
Religious education for the youth starts in the home. Parents should be an example and guide of faith and devotion. It is a parent’s holy duty to provide religious education for their children. The church helps parents fulfill this duty by providing educational programs that will not only teach children about our faith, but guide them to willingly choose the cross every day.
St. Thomas religious education classes are as follows :
CFF, Children’s Faith Formation (1st-8th grade)
Sundays 9:45am – 11:00am
SOL Youth Ministry (9th-12th grade)
Wednesdays 6:30pm – 8:30pm

First Communion
This class is for children who have been baptized, but have not yet received communion due to their young age. Children must attend classes which start every year in September on Sundays 9:45am – 11:00am. Must be of at least the 2nd grade and must have been baptized.

High School Confirmation
Typically students will begin Confirmation classes in the 9th grade. The Diocese of Orange requires 2 years of Confirmation classes. At St. Thomas, classes are held on Sundays 9:45am – 11:00am. About 14 classes are held per year. Confirmation students must be registered in the youth group program, SOL (Wednesdays at 6:30 PM). Class schedule is announced through SOL.

Korean Language School
Korean Language School is a place where students can learn about our Korean heritage, customs, and language. It is an opportunity for students to develop pride and interest in their own identities. To be bilingual is a valuable advantage in society. At St. Thomas, Korean Language School classes are held on Saturdays 9:30am – 12:30pm.
