Anointing of the Sick
In the Church’s Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, through the ministry of the priest, it is Jesus who touches the sick to heal them from sin – and sometimes even from physical ailment. His cures were signs of the arrival of the Kingdom of God. The core message of his healing tells us of his plan to conquer sin and death by his dying and rising.
Who receives Anointing of the Sick?

Requesting Anointment
- Please contact the parish office. Only the person to receive anointment or immediately family members may make the request.
- If a person is on their deathbed outside of office hours, you may call the office where there is an extension for such cases. If you leave a message, the pastor will contact you.
- In the event that the Church is not able to return your call, please contact a nearby parish. Often times, hospital nurses will also help you contact a parish as well.
